The Breath of God, the Comforter, and the least understood Person of the Trinity

Why did the Spirit of God descend as a dove? Eleven simple questions, each answered from Scripture, lead toward one of the central conclusions of Yona Tree's study of the Holy Spirit.

The Nicene Creed is the most widely shared statement of Christian faith. Yona Tree affirms it — and respectfully proposes four clarifications, beginning with the difference between being begotten and being born.

"Let us make man in our image." The first three people made in God's image were a father, a mother and a son. Yona Tree asks what that pattern reveals about the relationships within the Holy Trinity.

A shepherd, a woman, a father. In Luke 15 Jesus tells three stories of something lost and found. Yona Tree reads them as a portrait of the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Father, each seeking the lost.
